“Liberland gave me a real voice — my LLM actually decides how the country is run.”
A quick overview
The application process consists of a few short steps and can be completed online from anywhere in the world. Before paying the application fee, you'll choose between E-Residency and full Liberland Citizenship.
E-Residency is a faster, lighter first step — it lets you register a business and use the Liberland Market. Applying directly for full citizenship is simpler and gives you immediate voting rights, but requires staking Liberland Merits (LLM), Liberland's governance token.
Once your application is reviewed, the relevant documentation will be delivered digitally, and physical items shipped to your home address where applicable.
Submit your personal information & fill out the questionnaire.
Tell us where you live and provide an identity document for verification.
Accept Liberland's pledge and select your preferred citizenship or E-Residency package.
Pay the application fee and wait until your application is reviewed by Liberland staff.
What you'll need to apply
All the necessary documents can be uploaded digitally, and no physical paperwork is required. To speed up your application process, please prepare the following.
A photo of your national ID, passport, or other government-issued ID will be required to confirm your identity.
Your full name, address & country of birth, along with optional business info.
Tell us why you're applying & what your intentions are with your newly acquired citizenship.
Fees vary by package & start from as low as USD 150 for the E-Residency option.
We take your privacy seriously and operate under strict data protection principles. We only collect information necessary for your application. All data is encrypted and stored on secure systems, and your information is never sold or shared with anyone.

Your governance stake
Every Liberland citizen receives 10,000 LLM tokens upon naturalization. These tokens represent your stake in the country and determine your voting power in Liberland's on-chain democracy.
Unlike money, LLM cannot be bought — it is earned through contribution to Liberland (volunteering, building, donating time or skills). Citizens who contribute more earn more LLM and gain a proportionally larger voice in governance decisions. See our contribution page for ways to get involved.
You can vote directly on proposed laws, run for Congress, or delegate your LLM stake to a representative you trust — all on-chain.
Included with every new citizenship application upon naturalization.
Additional LLM is earned through contributions — volunteering, building, and community work.
Use your LLM to vote directly on proposed legislation or delegate to Congress.
LLM is a governance token, not a financial instrument. It cannot be traded on exchanges.
